In this April 27, 2021 Peer Exchange Learning Conversation session ― a follow-on to an earlier conversation in March ― three additional communities discussed lessons learned and implications from their experience in starting and supporting learning pods during the pandemic. Attendees heard from Sonja Nelson of Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority; Maria Su of San Francisco Department of Children, Youth and their Families; and Lakisha Young of The Oakland REACH who shared about how their experiences with learning pods have led them to consider ways they can continue to quickly adapt to students’ and families’ needs as schools reopen.
