Tish MacInnis earned a BS Education degree from the University of South Alabama. She is employed with Alabama Partnership for Children (APC) as the Alabama Strengthening Families Coordinator. Her responsibilities include the role as the state lead the area of promoting the Strengthening Families™ Initiative. She is a certified trainer by the National Alliance for the Children’s Trust Fund. The training is provided statewide for the curriculum of the Protective Factors of the Strengthening Families™ Initiative. Tish is also a trainer of “The Growing Brain: Birth to 5 Years Old”; a training curriculum for Early Childhood Professionals. She is the Co-Chair of the newly formed National Early Childhood Family Network. Tish is the Alabama Ambassador of the Center for Disease Control’s outreach program for Learn the Signs. Act Early which aims to improve early identification of children with autism and other developmental disabilities so children and families can get the services and support they need.
