Shannon Riley-Ayers, Ph.D.

Shannon Riley-Ayers, PhD, Senior Program Officer at The Nicholson Foundation, has worked in early childhood for her entire career, spanning nearly 25 years. Her diverse experience as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, state education systems co-director, pre-service teacher educator, professional development instructor, researcher, and funder makes her a well-rounded expert in the field. She has extensive experience identifying, developing and implementing transformative programs and strategies that have improved the health, education and well-being of young children.
