Rachel Stine leads the strategy and oversees the portfolio of Book Harvest’s book access, book ownership, and community-wide literacy programs. Rachel joined Book Harvest in 2015 and is a dedicated nonprofit professional with experience implementing successful programs in public, private, and alternative school settings. Her experience in nonprofit management includes strategic planning, program evaluation, community outreach, and volunteer management. Rachel serves on the Steering Committee for Durham’s Campaign for Grade-Level Reading and the Everyday Places and Spaces Initiative. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology from Westmont College and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California
