Pamela Williams currently serves as the ParentChild+ Washington State Program Director at Start Early WA. She supports a diverse group of organizations statewide implementing the ParentChild+ core and family childcare models. She trains newly hired site coordinators, monitors sites to ensure model fidelity and supports new program site development. Pamela is also a member of the WA Home Visiting Services Account (HVSA) HUB team.
Pamela is a Pennsylvania native and before moving to Washington State worked in the field of Family Literacy, Ms. Williams was the Family Literacy Program Manager for the School District of Philadelphia Office of Early Childhood where she managed ParentChild+ in Philadelphia and the Even Start Family Literacy Program. Pamela had a successful career helping to expand family literacy services (ABE & ESL services, Parenting Education and Home Visiting Services) to support low-income, low literacy and ELL families with young children. Ms. Williams holds a BA from Temple University and a MS from Drexel University. She has offers home visitor safety/field readiness trainings locally and has presented at several conferences. Pamela also sits on several local and national advisory committees as well has served as a board member of the World Organization for Early Childhood Education (OMEP-USA).
