Osbourne (Ozzie) Wright, Jr. is a proud graduate of West Philadelphia High School. Following graduation, Ozzie entered the United States where he served a tour of duty in South Korea and held numerous military commands and positions over 25 years in the Army Reserves. Ozzie attended Temple University receiving a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in education, afterward beginning his 30-year tenure with the School District of Philadelphia. Here he served as a teacher, athletic coach and in various administrative positions: supervisor, assistant principal, principal, and assistant regional administrator. He also served as an adjunct professor of kinesiology at Temple University’s College of Health Science. Concurrent with his educational and military careers, Ozzie continued to earn his Master’s Degree from St. Joseph’s University, Elementary and Secondary Principal’s Certification from Cheney University and the Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from St. Joseph’s University.
