Former Senior Program Officer in Early Childhood with Robin Hood

Mackenzie Swirbul previously served as Senior Program Officer in Early Childhood at Robin Hood, a foundation whose mission is to fight poverty in New York City. She managed the organization’s core early childhood grant-making and supports Robin Hood’s Fund for Early Learning, a five-year $50-million initiative of which All Our Kin is a key partner.  Mackenzie first began her work in early childhood during her undergraduate studies as a research assistant in Vanderbilt University’s Early Development Lab, then with the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop, and was with Robin Hood for nearly five years.  Mackenzie graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt, earning her degree in child development and psychology with an additional focus in sociology. 

Mackenzie holds a Ph.D. in Child Development from NYU and currently works as a research contractor.
