Dr. Libby Pier is the Chief of Staff & Director of Impact at Education Analytics, a Madison-based educational research and data science non-profit. In her role at EA, Libby drives the execution of organizational priorities, supports the office of the CEO in strategic planning, leads EA’s internal communications strategy, and directs cross-functional initiatives for the Executive Team. As the Director of Impact, Libby leads the team responsible for aligning external needs and opportunities with internal activities to maximize the impact of EA’s work. Libby received her PhD in 2017 in Learning Sciences from
UW-Madison’s Department of Educational Psychology, with a focus on quantitative methods. Prior to graduate school, she taught 8th, 9th, and 10th grade English in Los Angeles through Teach For America while earning her Masters in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. She earned her BS in Journalism with a minor in Psychology from Northwestern University.
