Lauren Weisskirk is the Chief Strategy Officer at EdReports.org, overseeing the
organization’s communications, outreach, and impact priorities. She works throughout the country, supporting states and districts to prioritize high-quality, aligned instructional
materials that will best meet the needs of their students. She also leads the organization’s efforts to track the state of the curriculum market, including the impact of EdReports’ free reviews on the availability and use of quality materials.
Lauren brings experience from multiple roles in public education – from the classroom to the federal government – to her role at EdReports. Her passion for education began in Indonesia as a Fulbright Teaching Fellow, where she taught English in public high schools. She earned her M.P.A. from New York University and her B.A. from Claremont McKenna College.
