Lara Ohanian is the Director of Differentiated Learning in Baltimore City Public Schools. In this role, she oversees English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Gifted and Advanced Learning (GAL), and Extended Learning. This provides her the opportunity to support the continuum of learners through the development and implementation of curricula, interventions, enrichment, and assessments to meet individual students’ needs and prepare them for college and career. Dr. Ohanian has served as an educator for over 20 years, with over 10 years of experience as a district administrator. Lara lives in Baltimore with her husband, adorable toddler, and two puppies.
