Jim MacDonald is Vice President of Resource Investment of United Way of Greater Kansas City. In this role he is responsible for distribution of more than $15 million in grants from United Way’s Community Impact Fund and also has responsibility for annual
certification of United Way partner agencies, through which they must demonstrate adherence to 28 standards of accountability. Jim has spent his career in the United Way system, including various roles with the United Way in Kansas City and United Way of
Northeast Florida. Jim has served on a number of boards in the nonprofit and public sector over the past 20 years.
