Javier Maisonet, has been working with MathTalk since 2017 and has been working as the Chief Growth Officer helping to lead the effort of expanding the national footprint of MathTrails. Javier comes from a family of educators and has been in the education field for over 20 years. Javier has been dedicated to the idea of Math Literacy since he started working with the Young People’s Project during high school, where he participated in leading math activities for students throughout the City of Chicago. Javier has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy from DePaul University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Educational Leadership. Most importantly, Javier is a father of three amazing children who are 10, 8, and 4.
