Ira Hillman leads Einhorn Collaborative’s Bonding strategy, supporting collectives of funders and programs that help parents and their babies establish and maintain emotional connection from birth. In 2017, he championed the creation of Pediatrics Supporting Parents, a collaborative effort to leverage pediatric well-visits to support parents in promoting and supporting children’s social and emotional development and nurturing parent-child relationships, and was joined by four (eventually six) other national early childhood funders who have embraced and enhanced this work. He has spent more than two decades in the nonprofit sector, working with organizations in health care, the arts, higher education, and advocacy to transform their operations, develop new strategies, and build stronger collaborations among stakeholder groups.
