Gabe Hakim

Gabe Hakim is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Promise Venture Studio. Promise drives equity in Early Childhood by supporting a national network of 600+ social ventures touching every corner of the field, from Birth Equity, to Child Care Access and Quality, to Perinatal Health and Mental Health. Promise’s programs, including the Promising Ventures Fellowship and Show+Tell, have accelerated the impact of hundreds of proximate-led organizations and has connected them to tens of millions in funding. Promise is also the backbone organization for the national Early Childhood Leaders of Color Collaborative that supports 400+ field leaders in pursuit of greater sustainability, social capital, and collective power. Before Promise, Gabe has led numerous equity and justice-driven organizations. He is also a former preschool teacher and a father of two effervescent young girls.
