Dr. Eric J. Becoats was administered the Oath of Office as William Penn School District Superintendent in June 2020. He has more than 28 years of experience in Education, including as Assistant Superintendent in the Philadelphia School District.
Dr. Becoats earned a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Master’s Degree in Finance from Johns Hopkins, and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Lincoln University.
Dr. Becoats directed and led the development of the William Penn Strategic Plan: Focus Forward 2025, a four-year (2021-2025) plan to guide the District’s actions to improve outcomes for students.
