As the Director of Strategy of Builds at Gary Community Ventures, Emily is responsible for creating the conditions for successful launches and management of new build projects, including aligning vision, design, goals, learning, and execution. Prior to joining Gary, Emily was Chief Public Health Officer at COVIDCheck Colorado, where she led both COVID testing and vaccine strategy and launches at scale. She previously held policy and research roles at the Peterson Center on Healthcare, the Commonwealth Fund, and the Helmsley Charitable Trust. She holds degrees from CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy and Brandeis University.
