Cynnamon Woodberry brings over a decade of experience supporting early childhood educators and families across Arizona. As Senior Program Director of the Story Project at Make Way for Books, she helps create high-quality learning environments that foster young children’s language and literacy development. With a background in Family and Child Studies, she has guided educators in best practices and previously supported atrisk youth through the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona and Child and Family Resources’ GRRRLS Project. A passionate child advocate, Cynnamon has chaired the Pima County Child Abuse Prevention Council and held multiple leadership roles with SAZAEYC. She also serves on the University of Arizona’s Early Childhood Education Task Force and the IDEA School board.
