Constance Beecher is an Early Intervention researcher and educator emphasizing language and literacy development. Her work is centered in the context of community-based research. It involves developing, evaluating, and disseminating language and literacy programs for young children that can be implemented by or for parents, teachers, and caregivers in community settings. Connie’s faculty position includes an Extension and Outreach appointment where she oversees literacy programming for Iowa. She is interestedin helping communities support literacy in out-of-school and informal setting
