Cindy’s work at Education Development Center where she directs projects centered on creating engaging, cognitively challenging, and inclusive science experiences for children, families, and teachers who live and work in low-resource communities. Her passions are creating equitable science learning environments for multilingual learners; leveraging science to support language and cross-domain development; and creating home/school partnerships that excite, educate, and empower families. Cindy began her career as a Head Start parent, teacher, and education supervisor in Boston.
