Allison Logan has her master’s degree in early childhood studies and was the Executive Director at the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County, under Bridgeport Prospers, their StriveTogether, Cradle to Career, Collective Impact Initiative. It was here where she and community partners focused on the prenatal to three years, through the creation of the Bridgeport Baby Bundle- a bundle of both universal and targeted supports, along with authentic community engagement. The nationally recognized “Bundle” was awarded one of ten, three-year, community investment grants by The Pritzker Children’s Initiative. She helped advance the impact of the Baby Bundle throughout the city, including the advancement of developmental screening, expansion of Reach Out and Read, increasing access to Doula care, and the honor of being the first site for the state’s ARPA funded, Universal Home Visiting pilot with Bridgeport Hospital.
She recently transitioned out of her role in Bridgeport and now is the Co-Founder of the CT 359 Network, continuing to advance PN-3 best practices, policies, and supports to other communities, along with a focus on the transformation of statewide PN-3 systems, through a 3-year Community Systems Grant, funded by The Pritzker Children’s Initiative. She also currently sits on the National Steering Committee and is an Ambassador for Nurture Connection, which advances the Early Relational Health (ERH) Framework, so that all families can experience the joy and lifelong health benefits that come from strong, positive, and nurturing relationships in early childhood.
