Anna Markowitz is a psychologist whose work lies at the intersection of developmental psychology and child and family policy. Her research focuses on policy support for early child development, with an emphasis on the well-being of children and families from minoritized and marginalized groups. For the past 5 years, Dr. Markowitz has co-led a research-policy partnership with the Louisiana Department of Education, working to inform their early care and education workforce policy. Markowitz holds an MA in Applied Developmental and Educational Psychology from Boston College, and both a Master in Public Policy and a Ph.D. in psychology from Georgetown University.
