Steven Guttentag, Ph.D.

Dr. Guttentag began his career as a classroom teacher and has
spent the last 30 years designing and deploying technology-based
solutions to improve K–12 education. Most recently Dr. Guttentag
was the CEO of EPS School Specialty, a leading developer of
curriculum products and services that enhance literacy and math
skills and prior to that he led Reading Plus, an adaptive literacy
intervention solution. Dr. Guttentag was also the co-founder and
President of Connections Academy, an online schooling company.
His academic credentials include a B.A. from the University of Michigan, a M.A. in Teaching and Curriculum
from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Policy and Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
