An instructional leader and visionary, Gerald has held positions of teacher, vice principal, special assistant to the Regional Superintendent, principal, assistant superintendent, Deputy Superintendent of Schools, and now Superintendent of Schools in Orange, NJ. Each role allowed for reflective and strategic practice.
Leadership is a powerful source however being able to lead is ever more important. Gerald prides himself on listening to staff and reflecting consistently.
The most important lesson garnered in 20 years of educational service is as follows: when staff believe in the mission and vision results will come.
